Stanley Ladies Vs Curzon Ashton

Just to let all those who follow the ladies team a bit on here that the ladies will be playing their first game since the 25th October tomorrow AWAY at Curzon Ashton. Ironically the team we played on the 25th October was Curzon Ashton!!

I'll be back on here after the game tomorrow to let you know the score ( we lost the home fixture 4-0). Wish us luck people!!!

lad's team seem to have got into habit of insisting on winning - how about doing the same ladies. Bon chance.

Its a big ask against top of the league Curzon LLS!!! That won't stop us giving it everything mind, we train on 3G so the pitch should suit us as much as them. Our 4-0 loss earlier this season was our best ever result against them (previous others have been double figure losses!), that needs to change!!!!

well just to update those interested parties, the ladies team showed some consistancy this afternoon and once again lost 4-0!!!! With only 11 available players due to injuries and work commitments they ladies battled to half time only having conceded once (in the 5th minute) despite having one of their centre halves off the pitch recieving treatment for a knee injury for 10 minutes!!! In the second half the ladies continued to battle on but eventually injuries to 2 further players (who carried on but couldn't run!!)took their toll and they conceded three more goals.

Next week we have Leyland ladies at Wilsons Playing field 2pm kick off.

so do I!!! normally have around 15 players per game allowing for work committments but with several injuries and illnessess its a bare bones affair at the moment!!!
