Stanley ladies ran out 3-0 winners in a hotly contested game yesterday,against a very strong Sefton Peroni side. Well done gals!

no, my shoulder is now pain free but its not strong enough to dive about on. Been doing loads of strengthening exercises, I'm not sure when I'll get the all clear to play though. Fitness is coming on though, been training with the college girls academy and i'm defo getting fitter!!!

Well the Haslingden game went ahead as planned and ended in a 2-2 draw. There were several points where it could have got nasty but our girls held their nerve and remained supremely cool, whilst the opposition came close to losing theirs. The conditions however were atrocious!!
As for why have we only played 4 games, the short answer is the weather has been awful and the local council pitches are well over used, despite all the work the groundstaff are putting in, they're being given no choice but to call games off. |
