Stanley legends
Some great names here to wallow in nostalgia. My favourite was Russell Payne for his dribbling ability. Who would you go for?

Re: Stanley legends
Paul Mullin - Turned himself from a non-league, part-time journeyman into a first-pick Football League Player.
Total Legend.

Re: Stanley legends
He was dynamite, scoring 24 goals in 24 appearances before being transferred to Doncaster Rovers for 60 grand. Snodin signed him as "one for the future" but they changed their manager and he failed to establish himself, scoring 2 goals in 16 games before Stanley re-signed him for 30 grand. He struggled to regain his scoring touch and went out on loan to a N. American club. I can't remember what happened to him after that but I have a feeling he played for one of our lower league local sides.

Re: Stanley legends
For me it has to be Robbie Williams.
His honesty and devotion to the cause were an object lesson to any youngster starting out in the game.

You taking the pi55, Williams gambled big money to lose a game in which he was playing in, how can that be honest.
