The idea as mentioned before is getting together during the closed season to catch up and it's an all day thing not after a match...we can do that during the season

Ok the poll has now closed and its a dead heat between carnival day 16th June and saturday 30th june...

well I did say if this happened I would make the final decision..no moaning please..

the stanley pub crawl will be on ........



Saturday 30h June... time and starting place to be confirmed soon.

Ok picked this date cos I reckon the carnival date takes away the idea of the pub crawl starting during the day!!

i think this is an opportunity missed you could have started during the day at the carnival you could have helped the osc organise a beer tent and started from there and then help the osc raise funds..

Unfortunately it's not that simple to set up a beer tent...there's the whole licensing issue for selling beer...plus if there was a beer tent I'd never sell anything on the OSC stall

The message board pub crawl is a completely seperate event from the carnival, something that was started a couple of years ago as just that - a pub crawl. An out of season chance for us all to get together and have a few merry bears on a Saturday that would normally be spent at the footy. Great idea Harwood Red and will see you on the 30th June. Same time, same place?! Oh except that the Crown is now shut! Where are we meeting then, Oakleigh at, say, 1pm?

Glad I can't make it if you're having a few merry bears! Sounds pretty frightening to me. I will think of you all when I'm drinking beer in Austria.

Can't wait now - got loads planned this year thanks to good ol' Accyweb - the Carnival on 16th June, Cricket Sponsorship on the 17th, my birthday party on 23rd , then to finish it all off the annual pub crawl on 30th - nice one!!!
