Re: Stanley steward today

went to the wolves v west brom local derby today full house 28000 was in the south bank (wolves end) atmosphere brilliant...why..? because the whole end stood for 90 minuets , there where loads of stewards on duty but not one tried to tell the fans to sit down or even try to eject any fans, i was at rochdale and found the atmosphere was only created by the ultras standing up but found the stewards being "jobworths" by telling the fans to sit down and even ejecting a few...why ? if the fans want to stand ,let them if they are doing no harm or nobody complains lets create that atmosphere

I'm not long back from the Celtic v Rangers game and over 8000 Rangers fans in a near 60000 crowd stood for 90 mins and there was no danger off the stewards or police doing anything about it. When Rangers scored there was no danger to the fans and I was one of them, so why is there a problem with a few hundred at Rochdale?

hello hello, if thats still allowed cos it aint up here. You're right it was a great goal right in front of us and 8000 people went mental and unless you've been to one of these games you won't know what I mean but it puts in perspective the Rochdale argument especially since at Celtic Park not everyone actually gets a seat!!! I've stood at away games in Scotland and in Europe without a problem despite the fact we are not meant to so health and safety isn't an issue but the police and jobsworths up here are cracking down at Ibrox and the smaller away games are being policed stricter.
