Re: Stanley turn down Freedom of the Borough
Are the Ultras the miltary wing of the OSC, or the OSC the political wing of the Ultras ? Or are all our wings injured ?

Better that than always ultra…………I do sincerely apologise.
This should have been left to die the miserable death it should have faced the first time round. However I think Mr Spartan is **** raking and wanted this to surface so he could get a bit more coverage for his little pod.

I believe it is you fettler who is the one who is less informed, when it goes to court we will all have the same knowledge and one or two will look like the idiots I think they are, this is not local politics it's about honesty.

I never said anyone was dishonest and as for a court case it may not happen which would be a shame because imho it would show who is professional about their role.

Read the whole post please before replying - It quite clearly states at the last sentence that this was brought on by boundary changes made by government politicians many moons ago and I think you will find the boundary of Blackburn and Hyndburn is the river that runs by Greenbank Road or whatever it is called, near the new Police Headquarters.

I did read the whole post. It was unfortunate that you came out with the bland statement that "Whitebirk has always been in Hyndburn". Had you qualified that immediately with the words "since the reorganisation of local government" rather than wait for several lines to write something vague about "all this being caused by meddling politicians in London", your post would have been much clearer. Firstly, you should be clear about what exactly "all this" is. Secondly, please remember that not everyone will recall the local government changes - I'm sure that many young people will think that Hyndburn has always existed!

Re: Stanley turn down Freedom of the Borough
AHA, for once i know what i'm talking about, the left hand side of Whitebirk Rd, from the Red Lion ( where the traffic lights used to be ) is under Hyndburn, until you reach the lights at Intack , then you are under the Blackburn Borough. Bear in mind, turn left at the lights and you are still in Hyndburn
