Stanley v Everton

I have heard there is a game between Stanley and Everton tomorrow at 11.30 am on Merseyside, either at Goodison or Bellefield, has anyone heard anything about this??

I am assuming it must be behind closed doors as I can't see it mentioned on either OS and its not in any of the local press as far as I can tell.

I hope not mate, if he's taking tips from Moyes we are sure to go down.

How to spend £55m and still be worse than Bolton by David Moyes.

I just hope they bring James Beattie back on the coach with them. I think even League 2 might be above him though...he makes Mully look mobile!!

Nobody heard anythin anyway??

Re: Stanley v Everton

This went ahead today apparently with Everton winning 1-0.

Both sides played full strength teams at Goodison in a bizzare game of 3x 30 min periods.

Beattie scored the winner and Mangan missed a penalty for Stanley from what i'm told.

I don't know if this is right but i've heard it from a few sources now and theres no real reason to lie.

He's done Ok mate, no more. I'd like us to make a change personally.

The aim now has to be europe and the style of football we play will get us nowhere in europe.

Mark Hughes, Sam Allardyce etc have done just as good if not better than Moyes with nowhere near the money yet people think the sun shines out Moyes arse for some reason.

I just don't like the fella. he constantly plays the club down in order to build himself up. We finished 4th, which was great, how long can he live off that for though??

He has also overseen our lowest ever points total in a season and at times we look as much like a bottom 6 club as top 6.

After 5 years I expect a little bit more im afraid.
