Re: Stanley v Newport.

I thought the whole point of the Friday night games was to get fans and 'fans' of other clubs going. Being international weekend not top 2 division clubs are playing, so those who may go Blackburn, Burnley or watch Liverpool or Man Utd on telly (but never find the way to their grounds) would have been able to go on Saturday anyway.

If the England match was on Saturday there was still logic in moving to a Friday, however England have been playing Friday/Tuesday for around 3 years now and if in doubt it could have been checked well in advance of the fixture change.

It is a double bollock drop for me.

Not that Newport will bring many, but Wales also have a match.

Instant gratification..... just love that expression !!

And to top it off, take her to the national Brewery museum! As romantic weekends go, she should be well chuffed.
