Stanley v Posh

Looking forward to my first trip to Accrington, hope you manage to stay in the league, at Boston's expense preferably. How many does your away end hold? I understand you are a friendlier club than your neighbours Burnley (most places are). Are the local pubs away fan friendly? Posh fans are very peaceful, enjoy friendly banter?
See you soon..........

Strange that because when I lived there a few years ago I saw a group of Bury fans get jumped in the town centre. Didn't look very friendly to me. But there again a BIG CITY CLUB will have it's share of morons like a lot of other clubs won't it

Yes, we are a very friendly club Poshfan - you'll find the Crown pub right next to the ground really welcoming. Enjoy you're trip here - but hopefully not at our expense

How many does your away end hold? Expect a large following due to it will be a new ground for us all, and we are on a good run at the moment.

Re: Stanley v Posh

Thanks Spud, that is more than ample for us. Do stanley Ultra's still turn up with all their flags etc. Expect some competition from Posh, this season some of our fans have taken large flags.

Re: Stanley v Posh

Yep saw those, they came out at half time. I call them banners, not flags.
Seriously looking forward to the trip, should be a good day out.

How many are the Posh likely to bring on April 7th

Looking at the league table you could still make the play-offs

Re: Stanley v Posh

Its a tough call how many Posh will bring. Its a new ground for everyone, we are on a roll and could still make the playoffs. Many people who never go to away games say they are going to this one. Probably touch a thousand.
