Re: Stevenage Thread (part one)
I've got butterflies too! But so proud of the team & Coley & Jimmy, I believe & we are going to do this! My old Dad would never have believed this, let's do it for us & all the old fans no longer with us.

Craney in for Barnett. I gotta admit I was one of those who surprised at Craneys return. I didn't think he offered us anything that we didn't already have (Putterill). But his return coincided with the resurgence in results and I dont think it is an accident. Cracking goals in February but more than that it is the way that he can pick a pass out that splits defences. He has to return.
I also think that Turner has to be at least on the bench. He might not fit into the team with the shape that we currently play, but he is an option if you have to chase a game. It means changing the entire formation though, but if needs must he terrifies full backs with his pace. I think he's a good outlet if we are winning and just want to punt it forwards hoping for the best. "chase that Chris"

Not quite the same, Bateson played the first 12 but i take your point and agree with it. Tonight might just be a game for experience, and with Hessey and Sunbeds in the centre of defence, it's there in abundance.

Re: Stevenage Thread (part one)
Too many poor performances for me and a very costly sitter missed. Hope they play with more passion and strength friday or we are going nowhere.

Re: Stevenage Thread (part one)
Think you've got it right there New Red, Stanley were second to every ball and Stevenage wanted it more. Thought McConville should have smashed it past the keeper instead of trying to round him. Hope that miss don't come back to haunt us.
