stewards at the stanley

As the football season is now done and dusted, can i say a massive thankyou to all the stewards at the interlink express stadium.Who have voluntered there services all season, between us all we got to the end with no major hiccups..
These people are there long before kick off doing checks, and are the first ones to get the grief ok they may nag you to move out of the gang way but its for every ones safety at the end of the day.
Thankyou very much for all your hard work and bring on next season.

Re: stewards at the stanley

if it wasnt for a lot of people there wouldnt be a match at all.. lets not get carried away on that...

Otherwise yes.... excellent job for sod all... They should be paid... for a couple of years now the suggestin has been a small fee for parking and use that money to pay the stewards... What happens if they all decide not to bother one day... There was a pub game the other night.. crown inn v accy loyal.. they even had to have a steward come in for that... ukcowboy did it... how many others would give up there monday night to stand round a practically empty stadium...

A thankless task if ever there was one... so round of applause..........

Re: stewards at the stanley

Great to see that the stewards have at least ben rewarded by the club putting them through the NVQ so they have a proper qualification. No chance of a repeat of bad stewarding at Interlink as those morons at Hereford! At least we know our lads can take a laugh even if at our expense-we give it & we can take it. Don't forget the ballboys too scrambling around the extremes of the ground & Mick Schultz, he puts a lot of unseen time into the club & some damn long days- wife givin u grief at home Mick? Its not just about first team games cos a lot of other games are being played at home now. Finally the pitch. How it has come on a dream from when I first set foot on the ground twelve plus years ago. Well done Jim, Smithy etc (sorry if you arn't named but u know who u r)
