Re: Still TOP of the League and 'aving a larf

Thank you, long time coming wasn’t it……. What I will say is there was nothing today that would make me think I didn’t want to come back, hopefully my 14 year old will be with me next time, the little sod has already nicked my Supporters Club Badge, he’s actually still wearing it.

From what I understand, some Halifax fans were let in by stewards through an exit paying cash in hand. This could explain the attendance. Thoroughly enjoyed the game today (as did my throat). Would like to see us both in the title race (as we currently are), but think the next few games will be critical for every team around the top group!

Would love to have a Halifax - Accy playoff game / final!

I agree Harwood Red, more like 3,500 - 3,700. Like I said disappointed we didn't put in a better performance and encourage more people to come along on the 21st. Have to say I was annoyed by some people around me who obviously had turned up because Rovers and Burnley weren't playing, who constantly compared us to Premiership and Championship teams, but (like my son said), We are top of the league and they aren't!

Good to see you there Klacto, hope you, Mr Klacto and junior Klacto had a good time and hope to see you there on the 21st.

the letting in of people apparently paying cash in hand has happened a few times apparently, at and with the discretion of ground safety officers. It is done only to ease congestion at the single turnstile. The first time it happened there was an 'investigation or witchunt' by us lot and was deemed legit. As for an Accy/Halifax play-off final - get stuffed! We dont want to see hide nor hair of you lot again this year. Cheek of it daring to challenge the leaders and depriving us four points. What do you think it is? fair sport? a game?. So, once again, thank you for your money and goodbye

Re: Still TOP of the League and 'aving a larf

Just a point here, could the bar be closed 10 minutes prior to kick off so that those of us sitting in the main stand can watch 90 minutes not 60. Also could we please have more toilet facilities at the Clayton end, especially if we are talking 3000 plus for the next matches BTW the only reason I was seated is due to the fact I had my disabled partner with me. Also why 2 butty vans for the away fans and only one for the home fans, somebody boobed big style today.
Shay HTFC, no we don''t want a Halifax v Stanley play off final, we want automatic promotion. what you do is up to your team.

Nice to see posters saying they will come back, maybe now we might see more offers such as paying adult brings a child in free etc etc

Noone can hear the songs you sing in that ground. The atmosphere is poor because the ground is poor. The only singing that could be heard was coming from the Halifax end.

The difference between us & you is plainly evident. At the shay, we travelled with colour, we were in the ground half an hour before kick off, singing and getting ready for the game. As away fans that we believe is our duty to our club. So, half an hour before the game I expected the same from HTFC but we sang and sang & got no response until the game started. With a 1000 away fans it should have been bedlam but sorry lads, Morecambe louder, Shrews louder, York louder, Exeter louder with less fans!

You're a "big" ex league club & brag about "drawing" with us & singing louder, get real, if you were a big side it'd a formality to be louder. I mean we don't have to brag we were louder down south because we just take it as read we will create ample noise. If you were the bigger club you'd be ashamed to be playing at this level, as most big sides do! But you seem proud to be Non League! Funny that, but your fans need a tenth of the commitment of ours & I'd be impressed.... You even copied our scarf waving

You're poor lads which shows in your non existant messageboard with one post a week. It shows with the fact you still on here moaning about being a bigger club & whinging to us about floodlights lux levels- booooring bazzas!

You'd be better spending your time trying to lobby your "proud" council who have sold you down the river. But then its easier to sit at your computer screen in your burberry y fronts & tell us everything at ASFC is pants!

Save your ground you dweebs!

PS To all the sensible HTFC fans , I apologise but all this is inane, repetitive nonsense that hurts my eyes
