Re: Still TOP of the League and 'aving a larf

Yes why are the Shay fans still here?

We won't be playing them again in the league, and hopefully never again if we go up and they don't.

Good advice to ignore them.

What I heard on Saturday at the Clayton End of IES was pure passion from a group of fans of all ages, male and female. The banter, singing and chastisement of Halifax Town was first class and beyond your reach in terms of quality support.

At the end of the day we have an unsuppressed History and a Future that will be the envy of every non league club.

The last two games your team held the respect of everyone at Stanley and you should proud of that, unfortunately it appears that your sense of pride is some what wanting

yes, you are right, & I would also like to point out that HTFC's range of songs runs out after "come on Shaymen" & "I O Shaymen".....

We sang a song for every player, about twelve different songs about Yorkshire including Plum's Geoffrey Boycott one.........

HTFC class on the pitch, dull hooligans off it!!!!!!

Where do you think Stanley were 5 years ago?

The ground isnt anything special, but as I've said we havent been in the leage in recent times and therefore not had the need for a large ground (or the money!)

Criticise all you want, but at the end of the day, a team who were playing below Unibond level are now top of the Nationwide Conference, ABOVE HALIFAX!

Man of the Match went to Liam Richardson who I thought thoroughly deserved it
