More info on the guy
Kallum Higginbotham | Rochdale | Team | Profiles

If you believe what the coaching staff at spotland say about him then it seems we could have good player playing for us on saturday. He has scored 4 last season in 10 apperances for the rochdale in the league.

Re: Striker from Rochdale

he seems a good player on paper but who is going to play up front, as andrew smith scored two last night in the reserve game and one other day against wrexham, we also have gornell who scored on saturday, jamie clarke, mullin, and this new loanee so are we going to rest mullin and play the to young lads or mix them up with mullin

Re: Striker from Rochdale

There's an old saying that "its always darkest before the dawn" (last 10 minutes of normal time against Bradford were pretty apocalyptic).

We appear to be emerging into a very bright dawn.

I shouted out at work when I saw this signing. We have learnt the hard way what talent this lad has got. I am pleased beyond words he is coming over to play for us.

According to the statistics in the link you provided, he scored 4 goals in 26 starts + 10 subs appearances. Thats 4 goals in 36 games

Re: Striker from Rochdale

The Rochdale site describes him as a winger, which may be interesting. Coleman has always played with wingers, but this season we don't have any.

I hope he is a winger. Anybody know which flank?

Plays on the right side. Adam Rundle plays on the left.

At least most of us have heard of Higginbotham, who has netted a few last season where as no disrespect to Terry Gornell (I work with a Tranmere season ticket holder) most of us had not heard of him when he signed. Hopefully a good couple of loans that help us out of our current situation!

I'm an admirer of Terry Gornell, he's a bit raw, but he's athletic and willing so I think he'll get better. Hope we can extend his loan for a bit longer. I don't know any Tranmere season ticket holders but have a soft spot for 'em ever since I heard the band 'Half Man Half Biscuit' who , apparently , would never accept a booking if it clashed with a Tranmere Rovers fixture. This is quirkyly humurous stuff and tracks include 'Trumpton Riots', '-uckin hell its Fred Titmus','99% of Gargoyles Look Like Bob Todd','1966 and All That',and 'All I Want For Christmas is a Dukla Prague Away Kit'. Check it out and chuckle

Rochdale fans' perspective. Chimes with what Coley said in Telegraph.
