Stuart Bimson
Bimson has left the building.
I spoke to him as he left this evening and that was his last game for Stanley from the current loan period. He says he will be talking to the club next week but basically thats it.. gone ![Frown](http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif) He seemed to genuinly want to come back and I for one would like to see him do so. But from the long handshakes and goodbuys it didn't look likely.

Re: Stuart Bimson
I thought he has been one of our best players this season and he linked up well with Evil on the left.
Presumably Coley must be certain of getting another centre-half and then switching Howson to left-back.
Sad to see him go, but will wait and see what Coley has in store.

Re: Stuart Bimson
I agree, Bimson was solid at the back in the games he played for us & with Steve Halford injured, Smithy still at Barrow & Rocky also looking like he'd picked up an injury yesterday we could struggle defensively next week at Dagenhem.

Re: Stuart Bimson
For me, Bimson has been rock in Stanley's defence this season and I can't believe he's being allowed to leave, unless there's a financial reason behind it.

Re: Stuart Bimson
I agree with the majority of replies above, for gods sake get him back, he has been a rock and if he wants to play for us as has been stated, then maybe the money might not be such a big issue

Re: Stuart Bimson
I think Bimsom has been steady at the back. It's surprising how many supporters want him to stay, cast your minds back a couple of weeks when Will, Smiffy, and Accy Reds singled him out has having a shocker at Stevenage and giving away a goal. Soon changed your minds haven't you.

Re: Stuart Bimson
He did have a shocker at Stevenage.. I still stand by that, however... everyone has an off day, and I cant remember any other bad performances from him.

Re: Stuart Bimson
I said after the Stevenage game that Bimson wasn't good enough
and I STILL stand by that.
Ok, the lad has been solid for a few games but over the space
of a season I think he would be a liability.
Get a good centre half in the team and switch Howson to
left back and personally I think we'll be an all round better side.
Don't forget folks, This message board is about opinions ![Wink](http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/images/smilies/wink.gif)

Re: Stuart Bimson
According to this week's Observer, Bimson may even be playing for Stanley on Saturday
====
http://www.accringtonobserver.co.uk/..._id=11621.html:
The Reds are also struggling in defence as left back Stuart Bimson’s loan spell finished after last week’s goalless draw with Woking.
But the 34-year-old Cambridge player would like to come back to the Interlink and Coleman thinks he can wrap up a deal before the weekend.
"We are continuing talks and he could play against Dagenham if a deal is sorted out," said Coleman.
And Bimson said: "I want to make the deal permanent and I am hoping we can sort something out.
"I have gone back to Cambridge but time will tell.
"I could only do a month’s loan as my children are in nursery and I couldn’t take them out for too long but I want to sign permanently."
