Super Gesture by the Club
Winstanley's Matchday Club vs Macclesfield FREE Admission
Accrington Stanley Community Trust are proud to announce the return of 'Winstanley's Matchday Club' for the home fixture vs. Macclesfield Town. As it's the opening club of the season we are offering the Matchday Club to all children FREE of charge. The action-packed club, which has been very popular and well attended over the past two seasons, is aimed at children aged between 5-12 years.
The day consists firstly of an hour of fun football at St Christopher's High School, Accrington, were children take part in small sided games and football activities. The children then walk to the Crown Ground as a walking bus with the ASFC staff. On arrvial to the stadium the children take their seats in their own private enclosure in the stand. As well as this each child receives a FREE Matchday Programme and a FREE ASFC Gift. Before and after the game the children will have the opportunity to meet the players and get autographs if they please. Full details of the day are below.- 1pm-2pm: Drop your child off for an hour of football skills, drills and games in the Sports Hall @ St Christophers High School, Accrington, BB5 4AY
- 2pm-2:20pm: Escorted to the Crown Ground as a walking bus with ASFC Staff
- 2:20pm-2:40pm: Packed Lunch
- 2:40pm-3pm: Take in the sights of the Crown Ground on a Matchday. Enjoy the thrills, atmosphere and experience along with receiving a FREE Matchday Programme and FREE ASFC Gift. Meet the players and staff along with an autograph session with the first team.
- 3pm-5pm: Watch the players perform in their League 2 fixture.
- 5pm: Collect your child from Turnstile WT03
What your child needs?
Suitable indoor football/sports kit along with a change of warm clothing to watch the game in. Plenty of still soft drinks and a packed lunch. Please do not send your child with extra money as children will not have the chance to spend it during the day.
How to book?
You can book your child on by calling the Community Department on 01254 356950 or email [email protected]. You can also pop in and see us at the Crown Ground. Children can also turn up on the day although pre-booking is strongly recommended due to the high number of children expected.
I Think this is a great move by the Club and I hope it encourages kids to come along, some new fans to the game and into football at the Crown Ground
It's things like this can sometimes make a real difference especially in the Community
