Smile Swindon Home EFL

24 hours since the Desmond at The Crown and not a match thread in sight

A very enjoyable game of footy yesterday - both sides playing their parts

One of the best, dominating, free-flow Stanley performances I have seen in many a year

Hard to pick out the best player to be honest, the front players were great, the lads flying down the wings likewise

Solid at the back, great delivery from set pieces

Caught the end of the Radio Lancs. interview with Brett Ormerod, in which he likened Stanleys' attacks to The Red Arrows

Should have been out of sight in the first 20 minutes and we did enough to win the game three times over....

Great performance from the young lads

Re: Swindon Home EFL

Enjoyed the game yesterday especially when we were 2-1 up. Think the old head of Ollie must have given Swindon a good talking too at half time as they were much improved second half. Good to see Jack at the game.

Great game. Good crowd.
Stanley were superb for 60 minutes, created enough chances to reach double figures, but Swindon got on top after they equalised with a good goal.
Invited two neutrals along, who enjoyed it, and let’s hope a few of the ‘extras’ who attended return for more.

Re: Swindon Home EFL

During the last fifteen minutes of the first half, when we were looking great at 2-1 up, I was willing our boys to score another goal to put clear daylight between the teams. Had we done that I believe that we would have run out easy winners. All Stanley are still lacking is a free scoring centre forward. If we had one I think this team could challenge for promotion.
