Switch The Bamber Bridge Game

The replay between Rovers and the scumbags is on Tues 1st March. Same night as Stanley v Bamber Bridge in Lancs Cup. Surely it makes sense that we switch it to the Wednesday.......... Please Rob

Re: Switch The Bamber Bridge Game

Why ask Rob to switch a boring game that will be played at ewood???Surely that is the job of some b/burn employee...

A REAL game of football will be being watched by Rob and all true football fans at the ies .

Re: Switch The Bamber Bridge Game

Why would they want to do that?

I can't see any Burnley or blackburn fans wanting to see us play the Brig on a Tuesday or any other night and I for one would choose stanley over watching either of that lot..

Re: Switch The Bamber Bridge Game

According to the offical site, the Bamber Bridge game was moved "to avoid clashing with the FA Cup derby between Blackburn and Burnley". With all due respect to the glorious competion that is the Marsden Trophy, I don't understand why the two matches would "clash". Perhaps one (or several) of you would be kind enough to explain it to me -- probably best done very slowly with small words.
