Thanks for that Kipax, no doubt we'll see soon enough which, if any, of the trialists have been kept on

Disappointing about the roof and a tad embarrassing come the 1st home game on Tuesday with a half built stand!

Exactly what I was thinking, I bet our friends at Morecambe and Hereford are having a chuckle over this.

Do we actually care what Hereford or Morecambe fans think? Let 'em have a chuckle to themselves at our expense, it's nothing new!And anyways they'll be laughing on the other side of their faces when we finish above both of them at the end of the season

Totally agree.

Sadly, when I see Bagpusses' avatar I find myself looking for the Samaritans number for him.

But as he has friends at Morecambe and Hereford I feel the pressure's off a bit.

Re: Team pic day

After the last match of last season if we had been told that 90% of the roof would be up before the start of the season and that we would have signed 6 players inc one international keeper and a couple of quality looking defenders and be running the crown and have taken on a full time commercial manager this message board would have been on fire with "I will eat my hat if it happens" comments, think positive folks we are not Telford or barrow or Southport or Scarborough or even Leeds for the matter! the future is bright and we can all be a part of something great this season so lets give the club all the SUPPORT we can

Just a thought!!!!

To be fair regards the roof, the club did promise it would be up by the first home LEAGUE game and are on course to meet that target.

I don't think they'll make it, if its not ready for the 14th it won't be ready on the 18th.
They say "rather than risk having to close an area of the ground for the opening matches of the season the decision was taken to wait for a larger window within the first few weeks of the season." so my guess is they will start if after the 18th, next home match 1st Sept

Re: Team pic day

Tony, any chance of a back/middle/front row names line up. I can only work out about a dozen. They will keep having haircuts, or not - and don't get to see them often/close enough to know them all.
Cheers, Alan.
