Team vs Burton
With us not being able to move off 5th place, whats the team going to be vs Burton ?
Personally I would like Cisak to play to stay sharp. Rest the likes of Gornell, Mcconville, Ryan ect.
Play Turner, Boulding, Murphy, Putterill, Lindfield.
Also do we keep Long until after the play off final ?

Re: Team vs Burton
agree nickelson, think it would be good to play some of the squad, n rest certain players, yeh never know yer luck in a raffle n if anyone gets injured, match practice could be vital, not sure about Long, hope he can stay fer play offs, a good young lad,IMHO.

Just rung Eddie for you and he says no problem
His loan was until the end of the season which I assume means the 28th May

Re: Team vs Burton
Id rest a few.... BUT momentum is very important.
Maybe the give the first XI the first 45 mins, then take off Ryan, Jacobsen and 1 other at HT.
Very difficult decision for Coley to make....... Rather nice to have that kind of problem I suspect

Re: Team vs Burton
whilst i agree smudge about momentum, i honestly can't see any sign that any of these lads would need revving up, all have been magnificent IMHO.

Re: Team vs Burton
Rather nice problem to have though aint it.
Personally id rest Ryan, Jacobsen, Gornell, Hessey and maybe Mcconville.
Play.... Razor, Boulding, Leam, Long and Turner
Not bad replacements !!

Re: Team vs Burton
I'd make every change possible, i maybe agree with Cisak playing but every other one of should have their feet up now for a few days.

Re: Team vs Burton
Think it's a great idea & gives other team players a chance to play 1st team match, giving them a chance to shine and prove their worth for selection on bench for playoff chances. Even tho Liam came on for a few minutes he valued that time & chance to play, I know certainly players mentioned do play well in reserves & giving these lads a chance without losing place in league will give coley options to test out players for any strong selection he should make & cover subs wise, definitely keep cissak on tho!

Re: Team vs Burton
I'd keep the back 4 as they are less likely to pick up injuries, rest Gornell, Proccy and Jimmy play.
Winnard Hessey/Long Edwards Jacobson
Joyce Barnett
Razor Sean Leam
Linfield

Re: Team vs Burton
I'm tempted to suggest a change of formation as well as change of personnel. Does this seem like an attacking 4-3-3 option?
Dunbavin
Murphy Long Owens Richardson
Turner Craney Putterell
Parkinson Boulding Lindfield

Re: Team vs Burton
Agree it would be wise to have a look at some of the other players but I would imagine when you are part of a team in a position like that you want to play every game anyway.
Also of more note some of these lads will I would imagine be looking at their futures.

Re: Team vs Burton
Dont think there will be major changes as they dont want to lose that momentum that smudge mentioned.
They may rest the older players who are carrying knocks ie Hessey and Craney(replaced with Barnett and Long).
Young players wont want to be going two weeks without a game, and there will be plenty to work on after saturdays game.
