Well, when my kids were little I told them it was 'It's full of beer, pies & Stanley' - needless to say when they got older & realised that the middle word was not pies it made it difficult for them to ever trust another word I said
P.s. I couldn't possibly post on here what the middle word actually is, you'll have to listen carefully next time it's being sung

They're only singing about a girl. I used to sing about her all the time.

Re: Terrace chants

So come on then, who's the subject of the weird version of Supertramp's Logical Song that was aired at Blackpool? It's about someone running down the wing so I'd assume it was Seany or Jordan but I couldn't make out who.

Re: Terrace chants

Celtic sing this (according to google):

Oh he's Scotty Sinclair and he is so wonderful,
when he scores a goal oh it is beautiful its magical

when he runs down your wing he is fast as lightening, it's frightening and it makes all the bhoys sing....

Who Wynonie? The lady who had a cookery programme back in the 60's perhaps - a certain Mrs. Craddock

Re: Terrace chants

My mother-in-law was always known as 'Fay'.
It was only after her death, that as executor, I found out that she was christened as 'Fanny'.
Wonder why, as a very proud lady, she kept up the deception?
