Many Thanks to the Directors and staff from Accrington Stanley FC, for the generous use of the IES!!..............you did them proud!!

Great to see Gary Williams scoring again and showing that he still has his pace!!


On a disappointing note, it's a shame that the moderators saw fit to cancel the previous thread, as todays proceedings have returned mutual benefits to both clubs!

What a great day it was on Sunday at the ILS. I had the honour of sitting in the directors box for the first time - as my friend from Zencoe sponsored the match ball and got us into the 'posh bar' too! FC United fans were great - a credit to their new club. They sung throughout the match and clapped Colne FC off at the end too. I hope its not too long before FCUM will be at the ILS playing Stanley - meaning FCUM progress - not Stanley go down!!

I'm already looking forward to their next visit here in January - against Nelson FC.
