Thanks from SFC

Well, you did exactly what was needed and seems you have done all the hard work to keep us up, even affording to lose what turned out to be a pointless game for you in the process- so I just thought I would express my kindest regards and wish you well.

Did anyone here read Fridays NLP? Was quite heart-warming from Cavangah to actually say that they wanted us to stay up as local rivals.

Accrington Stanley who are they? A bloody smashing and friendly club!

Very kind words there my friend - and that is what I have found at Accrington Stanley too - a very warm and friendly club.

Thanks for those (and I am sure I can speak on behalf of most Stanley fans here) and good luck to Southport too next season.

Yes, well done Southport, "2-nil to the part-timers".

Personally, loved Liam in his short stay here, and wish you all well next season.

[ Does Eric Redrobe still ring any bells with you lot? ]

Re: Thanks from SFC

It's funny you should say that Oggy, Eric Redrobe officially launched our supporters' trust last night at haig avenue.

Liam has done well to turn it round and we're eternally grateful for that

Re: Thanks from SFC

Used to watch Eric against Tranmere in the late 60's, pleased to hear he's still going strong. Big number 11, sort of player you want playing for you.

On Southport on, as we say over here.
