Thankyou...

I tend to only come on here for work purposes, but this is entirely personal.

I like to consider myself a Stanley fan (albeit a very, very privileged one that gets to what I do for a living) and I was bloody proud to be one tonight.

Forget the attendance; the simple fact is that those inside the ground were magnificent - singing, cheering and encouraging.

So thanks to everyone that contributed to that terrific atmosphere. Amazing.

Re: Thankyou...

Yes, it was a bit special tonight. Great atmosphere, and just a positive buzz all the time.

It seemed like the old days, that we'd set up a proper Lancashire / Stanley atmosphere.

Of course we had no competition from the totally innapropriate (IMO) Ricky Kirby show.
Half time was bliss.

And it was all down to the Honest, 'in yer face' efforts frm the team which we have been looking for for weeks!
'JC' does look at the Forum after all !, he too looked a new man last night! ...was it our on-going confirmation of
his capabilities to see the job done?...Who can say ?.
but something worked!.
As to Senor Kirby
..I shared your thoughts down to the last full stop Oggy, his whining banalities...awful dirges.Half-time.patronising of Visitors, Crossbar-Challenge competitors, and the 'Clayton-Enders
werenot missed one bit! which definately added to the
pleasant and 'proper Lancashire atmosphere' which we all felt with restored pride !.
Now for a point at least from Rotherham !.

'WHAT ME WORRY ?'--I'M STANLEY THROUGH AND THROUGH !
