Re: The all new, improved, Newport match day thread.

Just back.
First of all congratulations Mr and Mrs Conneely and welcome Samuel.
We had our chances especially first half and their keeper pulled off two great saves from Clark and Kee.
Need to see the goal back again but Hughes was starting to get turned too regularly and he got caught out big style.
Samuel up front was a constant thorn - ugly at times but effective.
Supporters need to turn up next week and realise that where the club was at the turn of the year to play off hopefuls was some turn around.
Husin's got a shiner - took a naughty elbow and kid was lucky to stay on.

A bit previous to have judged so early. But that's the modern way.

Re: The all new, improved, Newport match day thread.

I knew that bleedin BBC article that Chimer posted about us would prove our downfall!
After beating most of the teams in the current play-off spots, it's ironic that our unbeaten run would end at lowly Newport.
Am I right in thinking they're the only club to do the double over us this season?
Anyway, big respect to the brave Welshmen who've battled their way out of the relegation spot, especially after getting a thorough thrashing the week before.

To be fair it has to be done a couple of weeks before the end of the season so the trophies can be organised & engraved
