Whinney Hill seemed to startle the Clayton end into laughter last night, biggest cheer all night*, but what was it about?

(*apart from the goals)

Ricky Kirby was otherwise engaged

Don't see what people have against the new bloke, I prefer him myself.

Bloody colonials.

Tannoyman announced Ricky Kirby was unavailable.

I had to laugh when the cheer went up. Made me feel as though it wasn't just me that finds him tedious.

Pfft Ricky Kirby IS the new bloke, however a lot prefer tannoyman, for reasons beyond my comprehension.

Arrogant old man, eh !?

Sorry, young man, they've obviously changed the rules of the english language since I was at school.

An Old English proverb Oggy!... ' The absent are always in the wrong'..

Although what this has got to do with Wednesday's non-existent Crossbar challenge and it's missing presenter..and the big cheer for something that never was, I can't think!. ( I can really..but it would take too long!).
