Oxford Utd have been promoted to the Football League... and we are still here!
   History could quite easily have repeated itself were it not for the actions of Ilyas Khan and Peter Marsden down in that London. Now we find ourselves at the end of our most successful season, with every hope of bettering the record in 2010/11. On, Stanley, On!  |

At long last, next season we will be able to play Oxford United after they won the Conf. Playoffs today! In the various twists of fate that have preceded the last 50ish years, we have never been in the FL at the same time and ironically they were relegated, when we were promoted!!
So along with Stevenage, we will have a few new Teams down at The Crown next season!! I was going to post this as a new thread, but that Shaker got there first - great minds!!!!!!

Wouldn't have minded an awayday in York (top notch pubs!), but the superstitious part of me is glad that Oxford have done it...the spell is broken!
