Re: The 'Merry Christmas' thread

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year...from Christie Park and CC.

Surely Boxing Day's game should have been between our respective clubs....Just doesn't seem right that we play Chester whilst you guys have a trip to Grimsby!

Totally agree.

What's worse is Boxing Days are my mother in law's festivities and if I so much as go near any of their televisions to check the score I will be turned to stone. Attend the match? Forget it.

I have been deprived of seeing my nearest Stanley game.

Merry Christmas to all my nearest league club supporting neighbours ( I couldn't have said that this time 2 years ago )

Hopefully you will get to see some good football and I can avoid the earache tablets

Hello, Hilda here, Stan's not very good at this stuff, he get's very emotional about his football. But I know he'd want to wish everyone a merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

(Well, almost everyone, something about the tree's upsetting him this year, says it'll be better when the branches are chopped off, don't understand it, myself.)

Anyway all the best from both of us.

Hilda please tell Stan that maybe the trees don't grow very well if they are planted next to Rocky ground
