I read that yesterday and my first thought was "Chester have gone so far as to contact the player and the club, whilst John and Jimmy have had a natter in the pub about it" ..... "He said: “Myself and John have spoken about him and it hasn’t really gone any further than that at the moment."

I thought exactly the same. They'll probably go as far as thinking about contacting Godwin once he's already signed for another club!

Accrington Stanley have at last landed the TNS left back Chris King on a free transfer.
The 27 year old has agreed a six month deal, becoming Stanley's second signing of the summer.
King spent six seasons with TNS, in which time he was involved in European ties against Manchester City and Liverpool.
Speaking to Skysports, the player said: "I've had six great and successful years at TNS but I'm at an age where I wanted to test myself in the Football League.
"People have told me I'm good enough and I'm confident I can make the jump from the Welsh Premier League."
So ...Welcome Chris King !!..... hope that you can 'make the jump'....It's a long way UP !!
