Joel, Owen, Lewis, Colby, Sean and the back three played well, but we are miles off being where we need to be.
Another win on Tuesday needed and if we can get a point next Saturday I will be happy.
We are in desperate need of the creativity of Pritchard and Butcher and I wish we would go back to a back four......

Re: The vs Fleetwood thread.
It's a funy old game is football. The difference between success & failure is often a mystery wrapped up in an enigma
Fleetwood know how Stanley have felt for months when, despite your best efforts, nothing seems to go your way.
Perhaps the scoreline flattered us, for Fleetwood played some attractive passing football at times.
It was one of those elusive days when, for once, lady luck was on our side.
If Fleetwood face the drop come the final reckoning, JC should be straight on the phone to enquire about their no.41 Hayes, who ran rings round our defenders all day. A skilful young forward unafraid to take defenders on & create chances for his team.
Apart from the much needed points, today was a massive confidence boost for the whole team.
Just one thing Mr Coleman, next time please include Liam Coyle from the kick-off.
Apart from his superb goal, his drive & energy was a massive reason we dominated the second half.

The positive side of Fleetwood fans; a bit of a curate's egg, but it shows all the goals from a different angle. And you can't fault the chap's enthusiasm...

Hayes was mentioned on Radio Lancs. in the post match interview and I have to agree, he was a bright spark
Agree completely about Coyle, but that is Coley's job to balance the team

18 year old Cian Hayes has just signed until 2024 with an option for another year will take some prizing away.

Re: The vs Fleetwood thread.
Disappointing gate yesterday 546 home fans shy of average of 2126 home fans this season worked out by average away fans across the division is 811 at present, think form bad weather Xmas and 3 games in a week were a factor but was a worrying sign hopefully pick back up.

Re: The vs Fleetwood thread.
Four home games on the bounce Andy, at this time of year it is a big outlay!

This guy is a credit to both his club & all who love the game, although I worried he might do himself some injury so often did he prod & poke his head throughout the video.
Surely a case for the Psychiatrist's couch?
Only those with a heart of stone could fail to feel sympathy for a young man watching his hopes unravel as the team he loves suffers another crushing defeat.
His report contained all the emotions we invest in this game, from early hope to frustration at going 2-0 down, to renewed hope when they snatch one back, to despair by the final whistle.
He even complimented our club & fans wishing us well for the future, a lesson in humility for all those who gloat at the defeat of opponents.
For only a fool would want to see local clubs like Fleetwood & Morecambe relegated. We are not enemies but brothers-in-arms travelling the same rocky road.
For the lucky few it leads to success & euphoria, for the majority disappointment.
Those who would jeer at Fleetwood's misfortune should watch this video & remember that what goes around comes around.

saying all that i imagine there would have been an extra 1,000 plus on the gate if both sides were in real form. no fun for both sets of fans when they turn up expecting the worst.

Re: The vs Fleetwood thread.
Left back apparently a target for Stanley in January thought Danny Andrew had a decent game 30 years old and into his last six months of his contract just a thought.
