Re: Ticket discounts.

Well I think the Accy web people could come up with an answer my suggestion is we sponsor Rory Pendergast opps.

We could all put in a tenner and get Gary a season ticket the, club gets the money Accy gets another supporter, only don't raffle his shirt off at the end of the season. good or bad idea?

As for the price.. I would say fair and reflects well on the conference.... esp the concession prices
As I've mentioned in another thread kipax, went to print the poster for work and it states £10 entrance, although I'm a season ticket holder so don't go through main turnstiles I'm sure it's £12 as mentioned by TM... just thought I'd mention it

Re: Ticket discounts.

here at stanley we follow guidelines from the nationwide conference:

disabled supporters are charged exactly the same as everyone else who enters the ground, however if they require a carer or assistant with them in order to watch the game then the helper is admitted free.

OMG Baz, that is really nice of you but no way mate, but thanks for the thought.

Like I said I will still keep coming regardless. I've read in other threads how the club had free kid places, and you were over run with kids who weren't necessarily interested in watching the footy. I just thought when we were so desperate for a vocal and strong home gate, perhaps there was a similar scheme for those on a low income, as well as the pensiner's discount.

I only asked because Sparkologist and Lettie asked when we went to the theatre and I was eligble for a discounted ticket there, so I checked the offical site and couldn't find any relevant onfo, hence my question here.

I did ask Sparkie about a season ticket, but she talked me out of it for the reason that I wouldn't save money if I was unwell and missed a couple of matches.

It was a really nice thought Baz, but I'm in a lot better position than some, plus I would have felt a right teacake having a pint after the match in the bar!!!

Will cut my cloth accordingly and keep supporting the Reds.

Re: Ticket discounts.

Non ambulant disabled users get a bit of a raw deal on matchdays... They miss a big chunk of the game at the start of each half while people walk past them...its when the teams decide which end they are kicking to. litrally hundreds of people walking past.. can take 5 mins and the disabled cant see the match... able bodied can stand and move....Also the substitutes warm up in front of disabled supporters blocking there view of the game.

the main problem was solved when refs did the toss up before the game and it was announced on tannoy.. that was great for all concerned and ground breaking by the club.,. unfortunatly it didnt last and refs dont like doing it
