Tinpottedness
Very funny thread on the HUFC messageboard, with this from our old friend Ex Landlord:-
"I think Exeter failed the final test for tinpottedness when it was discovered they had insufficient flags and drums... the precedent having been set by Accy and Alderpot some years ago. " We glory in our tinpottedness, but isn't it funny how these people always seem to exempt themselve from the charge - aren't the current HUFC the most tinpot club ever to be in 2nd place in Div2?  <!-- google_ad_section_end --> |
