Thanks for that, Sam. However, after the initial disappointment last night, looking at it purely from a personal point of view, my mood's fine because...

1. At this point in the season, for the first time in four years, I'm calm - I'm not having trouble sleeping, suffering from appetite loss or listening to Mrs H asking for the tenth time what's wrong with me (take it all too seriously? Moi? ).

2. I've still got a football club to support (thanks to the Dynamic Duo!).

3. A decade ago as we were storming the heady heights of Unibond One, if somebody had said that 10 years from now we'd be finishing the season mid-table in the football league - yes the football league that no one ever thought we'd return to, I'd have been delirious with happiness!

Sorry for stating the obvious, but sometimes the obvious needs stating!

Spot on WH, point 3, is something that we must all remember, but most of us forget!!

I had replied on the "locked thread"

The highest league position in my life time, superb cup runs, well up the league 2 attendance league, no relegation fight in march, FANtastic fans, on stanley on!!!

As per our leaders "keep the faith"

They usually do not star until April/May!!!!
