Re: Today v Rochdale
thats a fair summary in my eyes Redraine, was a different team, different style after 30 mins or so, n the wasted balls from kenny kicking were unreal, that sort of thing aint rocket science.

I like Jamie Speare, but he is obviously doing detriment to Kenny's game.

Re: Today v Rochdale
I am not too sure that rolling the ball to the full backs would do much good. The way they are playing they would loose posession or misplace a pass. I was not expecting us to win today, but would have liked a clean sheet. I hope we dont start conceeding lots of goals like last season.

Re: Today v Rochdale
Rochdale were nothing special, but they beat us easily. The Rochdale team of last season would have absolutely hammered us. No complaints about the penalty. It was 100% correct.
I think everyone if giving their all, but it isn't good enough. I can't see much light at the end of the tunnel.

Re: Today v Rochdale
As Cashy says, for the first thirty minutes they played some excellent football and they were definitely superior to Rochdale. Some of the passing was superb. However, the penalty, even though it was dubious, should not have put them off their style of play. If they had carried on, they would surely have overcome this setback. Instead, they slowly but surely slipped back to their old style of play, until by the end of the match, as Redraine says, it was back to booting it up the field in the hope that Mulley would get it...with the inevitable consequences.
This is what's so frustrating about Stanley at the moment. They are capable of playing well...but only for a portion of each game. Why can't they do it for longer?

Re: Today v Rochdale
I listened to a radio interview with Coleman on the way to the game today on 3BR. He said "we can beat any team in the league". Is he having a laugh?
Nothing has changed over the last two years, the team still chase around like headless chickens with no real purpose in mind and are still devoid of attacking ideas.
I have seen more endeavour and ideas in school playgrounds,as far as football is concerned, than this team show at the moment.
Come on then Coleman prove to the fans that we really have the ability to beat the best teams in the league.
