Well done today Stanley. Good to see the team passing and holding the ball with confidence. All three goals were quality plus another clean sheet.

Re: Today vs Bournemouth

Coley had the lads fired up today, and after a blistering start there was no way back for Bournemouth with our defence now gelling into an organised unit. 3 superb goals put me in my place re. "no goals" complaints.
We should break the bank to keep Charnock at the FES - what a good un!

Re: Today vs Bournemouth

was really great game today well played to all the boys in red today! we really showed them how tired we were after thursday got to say all 3 goals were quailty mullins was top confindent clam as you like goal! gornells was a nice lob over the keeper from outside the box if we had, had him on thursday we would of won what a great player he is! now Grifffiths now what a goal, i have been waiting for him to score a goal like that he is just one of them players that wait for a ball to come to each off the area, great first goal hit it right on the sweet spot keeper had no chance! they dont save thoughs, take a bow son! back four were very ace today! edwards gets better ever game! Higginbotham played very well today he has pace he just needs abit more confidance to take players on! shame about the attendance though, the matchday club seems to have been a good start looked about 20+ kids sat over in the main stand! lets hope it contiunes at chesterfield only 2 more clean sheets and coley has to wear a kilt

Thumbs up Re: Today vs Bournemouth

Cracking 3 points, cracking 3 goals, cracking first half, poor second half but who cares it's 3 points and thats what matters.bournemouth were a poor side and if they thought we'd be knackered from the tranmere game they were wrong.I thought we tired in the second half but we stuck at it,on this form we can beat anyone. WELL DONE LADS YOU DID US PROUD.

To think that just three and a half years ago they were narrowly edged out of finishing sixth place in League One. Sheffield Wednesday won 2-1 at Hull to leapfrog them and claim their place in the League One play offs.

Harry Rednapp made the point that they only lost their League One place because of the financial problems.

I missed seeing the spectacle of Paul Sturrock wearing a kilt on the bench before a fullish house at Hillsborough "in the flesh". I think it clashed with Woking.

Its a salutary reminder to Coley that these pledges sometimes "come to bite you on the bum" as Paul Sturrock would say and found to his cost. At least he is Scottish.
