Re: Today vs Chester
Poor defending let us down yet again, but a points a point maybe the tide is turning?? stonker of a goal from Dr Procter having said that the other two were,nt bad either, Mr reliable Mullin on good form again it will be a travisty if we lose him.A bit of a squeaky bum game today and could have gone either way, good noise from,t clayton end again apart from the silly death march again we don,t need that, lets just put the opposing keeper under pressure by moving down the terrace and getting in his face.

Yep couldnt agree more there, yes again not amused with the death chant thing im sure if it was our player down & another team sung it im sure those chanters would be annoyed!!
I think our morale has been down for some time - give the clayton enders their due, couldn't of asked for a positive bang of chants to lift the team.

I could,nt get my head round that one either zombie IMO rocky is nothing but a liability (stanley convert hides behind something as the flack starts to fly) and another thing why oh why won,t he give Leighton a chance to get at em, come on Colley give the lad a chance when he does get on its only for the last 10 minutes and to me thats a waste as the lads got talant and speed and is a real defence worrier.

Re: Today vs Chester
Anyone spot the visitor today ?
A certain Mr.Gerrard was sat bout 5 rows behind me.
All in all we were the better side, an out of character mistake from Roberts lost us the game, letting the ball bounce when he should've just hoofed it, then doing a school boy non-header which basically just tapped the ball into the air again, giving the opposition the chance to nick it

Re: Today vs Chester
The blumming most annoing thing was the high & long balls being played rather than playing ball on the ground & knowing where your men are to play ball to

Re: Today vs Chester
We looked good going forward in the 2nd half, but the defending is costing us big time.
Robbie IS NOT THE ANSWER as we all know.
However WEBB had a mare today, his pace is non-existent.
What would i give to have Antwi back till the end of the season.
Any idea why we cant get some Liverpool reserve defenders?

Re: Today vs Chester
Bav's kicking let us down again today. EVERY time he had to clear a rolling ball under pressure he hoofed it out of play. Once he had a clear, unpressured kick from outside his penalty area and failed to make the halfway line, giving it straight back to Chester! Good to see Kenny warming up before the match!!!!!!!!!!!
Can anyone say if their 3rd goal was offside - it seemed so from behind the goal but not definitely?

Re: Today vs Chester
first 20 mins was abysmal .chester could have been at least 4 up but at least we had the bottle to fight back which has been missing in recent home games not perfect but highly entertaining.i know we scored 3 goals today but too many times the forwards and attacking midfielders were out of position i.e defender gets ball looks up theres nobody in a forward position to create an outlet to releive the pressure ,so what happens the opposition get possession and create intense pressure and the inveitable happens .the opposition either score or close to scoring what we need is an outlet a roving midfielder that is good in possession with vision..

Re: Today vs Chester
why did Todd play on the left?
Why did Coley replace a defender with a defender (Williams for Webb when we were on top?)
