Gulp: Williams
One managers son out and another illegitimate one in.
Murdock surely has to be a better shout.

Re: Today Vs Gillingham (match thread)
Are you being serious? Murdock has just had glandular fever which takes an age to get out of your system, he also has no pace at all. Left back is definately not the place for him. As for Rocky or Jay, I'd take Rocky without a doubt coz he has plenty of experience at this level and Jay has a lot to learn and virtually no experience.

We are not suggesting Colin Murdock for left back, but for centre back. Phil Edwards at left back with Murdock and Charnock in the centre.

When did he have glandular fever? He has been playing (occasionally) or on the bench (regularly) during the last 10 weeks.

Re: Today Vs Gillingham (match thread)
Not good today, the Gills were well in control. Its time to start panicking. Was pleased to hear that one hundred season tickets had been sold already. The team looked like a dose of confidence would come in handy.

Think I was at a different game to you pal the red's dominated and had 4 attempts that were very unlucky not to go in. Gillingham had one scrappy first goal and a deflected second, I can only recall one other occasion where they had a chance when kenny made a good save. The gills fans at one point were even shouting 1 shot 2 goals.
Solid performance today just unlucky. Even rocky didn't play too bad.

Re: Today Vs Gillingham (match thread)
Actually red is quite right, dunno what match u was watching sam??, only one or two pockets of any real attack but quite rubbish in all honesty. I think for a change will agree with the ultras "we couldnt score in a brothel"!! Even gills couldnt pocket the net for a og. No force or any change of scoring we havent a goal scorer.
Thing is as good as the season ticket prices are - what matters is some performance on the pitch.... lately we've not had much on that score, watching paint dry for free sounds more appealing

Re: Today Vs Gillingham (match thread)
Virtually every player gave their all today, but the bottom line is that we're not good enough. To add more pressure, we can't score goals, which puts extra pressure on the whole team.
The trapdoor is opening beneath us and I say that with real sadness, as I can't see us getting away with it this year.
