However, that said, you can rest assured that a FULL shareholders meeting will be forthcoming around the end of March this year after the accounts have been done/sent off. This was said by both Ilyas and Rob on Saturday...............so it WILL happen!!

Hope this helps a little Fourth Official ?
Thanks for that UKCowboy

I presume that the accounts referred to are for the year ended 31st May 2009 which have to be lodged at Companies House no later than 28th February 2010. I would, therefore, expect that the accounts will have been done by now if they have to be lodged in February, so why wait until the end of March ?

The cardboard millionaire was in the office at the Club yesterday (Monday)

Ilyas has said that EW shares have now been transferred to DON so what was he doing at the Club yesterday. EW shares have not been transferred according to Companies House, and according to the lates list of shareholders lodged, Peter Marsden does not now have any shares.

EW is still registered at Companies House as the major shareholder so by law he still owns the shares.

End of this story

Yes 51% of nothing = nothing so what he owns is worthless.

Re: Today's meeting of Shareholders

llyas did say in the interview that Davids shares need to be registered at Companies House

im happy enough with llyas word he has seen the the evidence

taken from the interview

DAVE O’Neill IS the majority shareholder at Accrington Stanley.

The Managing Director said at the impromptu shareholders meeting on Saturday, that he now has the certificates for the 51 per cent shares he bought off former chairman Eric Whalley and he has paid the original money asked to conclude the deal

"I have seen the evidence and I believe Dave is the owner of the majority shares," said non-executive chairman Ilyas Khan.

"I have done everything that has been asked, got the certificates and, as far as I am concerned, the takeover is complete," said O’Neill.

The next step is to register O’Neill as the official owner at Customs House.

Re: Today's meeting of Shareholders

I do hope this is true, and that the shares are printed on something other than recycled cardboard.
