Today's theoretical team against MK

Who would you like to see playing today? From a personal point of view I would tinker with the team that played Chesterfield only slightly.

My team would be
GK - Arthur
Back 4 - Richardson, Kempson, Roberts/Webb, Edwards
Midfield - Todd, Proctor, Craney, Thomas, Whalley and Mangan
Forward - McGivern (with Mangan coming forward when he can to be a nuisance factor - which he usually does well)

On the bench - Dunbavin, Roberts/Webb (whichever isn't playing), Harris, Grant and another(Whalley)

If Mullin is playing then go 4-4-2 drop Whalley to the bench and play flexible which could even go 4-3-3

Thoughts?

Re: Today's theoretical team against MK

GK - King Arthur

RB - Phil edwards
CB - Sean Webb
CB - Darran Kempson
LB - Leam Richardson

RM - Andy Todd
CM - Proccy
CM - Chopper Harris
LM - Sean Whalley

CF - Mullers
CF - Mangan

The success weve had under Coley has always been built on a big man/little man front pairing with the wingers attacking the flanks and getting the balls in. Back to this would do nicely methinks.

Re: Today's theoretical team against MK

1. Mullin

2. Cav 4. Branch 5. Brown 3. Edwards

6. Williams 7. Dunbavin 8. Richardson 9. Grant

10. Whalley 11. King

but seriously

Arthur

Edwards Kempson Webb King

Todd Proctor Craney Grant/Whalley

McGivern Brown (Mullin if fit)

no room for Leam, who has been out of sorts for a game or two, no room for Aswad, who has not been with it at all and no room for Mangan. But I think those three would make very effective subs no matter which way the game needs to swing. They could either close the game as defensive wing backs and putting Mangan on up front on his own to chase channel balls or the three could come on as attacking players to chase a deficit.

i think whatever team we put out, mk dons will be well up for today after drawing with the posh on friday.

This is possibly the hardest game of the season.

Re: Today's theoretical team against MK

are only chance is if we let them play miles.

i watched him play against chesterfield - he was awful, clearly the dons worst player.

did nothing - must have had about 4 touches in the whole of the first half.

bad news is - he has another year on his contract.
