Today's weather and the pitch
Does anyone know if/when there will be an inspection of the pitch to confirm this afternoon's match?
There's nothing on t'fishy site and I'm only getting voicemail at the club. My Dad lives on Livingstone Road and he said it's been raining all night. Much as I love driving to Accy, I'd prefer it if there was a match to watch when I get there... |

The groundsmans' team did a sterling job last week, so I am sure they will turn it around again this week, even though we played midweek.

Accrington Stanley v Dagenham and Redbridge
Saturday 14th Nov 2009 Pitch update The pitch has coped well with the rainfall that we have had this week and our groundstaff are now on the pitch ensuring that there should be no problems with this afternoon's game. The weather is currently sunny, fine and windy - ideal drying conditions - and as long as there is no heavy rainfall between now and kick off then we look forward to the game going ahead. The referee will arrive at the club around lunchtime, any further details will be posted as soon as they become available. |

I dont think Accringtons pitch will ever been as bad as this one .. its Carlisle's pitch but they've got it clear for today ..
