I never did warm to your views either and a few of us still remember when you abused me then let slip in a moment of excitment that you are one of the two moderators in the Stanley section. Because you are a moderator you will ban me so yep you could be right you may lose my company so I'm off to find Whalley and see what the bloody hell is going on.

Re: Todd gone to Rotherham
For goodness sake we don't know for a fact that it was their decision...maybe it was out of their hands!!!! Lets not play guesswork eh??
Yes it could be cos we won't pay him enough, it could be didn't offer him long enough contract....
but it could so easily be that its nearer home and he feels there is more chance of going back up with rotherham than with stanley....
who knows!!??!!
Yes lets be fed up he's gone, but lets also wish him the best of luck and hope that coley works his magic and gets some fab new signings in soon

Re: Todd gone to Rotherham
A while ago I dared to criticise the management and I was crucified for it . I had negative karma , I received hate pms etc etc. We still have the same managment now , and we are going to start our 2nd season in the league . So what has changed , except that I am happy and you lot have all changed into moaning minnies . As I was told previously "He's only one player , and one player doesn't make a team ".

yes but it is a well known fact that stanley do pay alot less than other league clubs...mostly would think due to low attendance in comparison

Yes Lancsdave they are mate, however I think that Smudgie was referong to the fact that Stanley openly admit to paying nearly 50% less than the 'going rate' for a league 2 player.

Re: Todd gone to Rotherham
Dont worry. I am upset that he is leaving but think about it. He came from a team that were lower than use and he couldnt even get into their team. Coley will find some new stars. It was like this when Rory left. There are plenty of good footballers about.

Re: Todd gone to Rotherham
I can't believe most of you guys either.Clearly Toddy was regarded as a very important member of the team by you,but NO ONE IS INDESPENCEABLE. If Eric had the doe-ray-me, he would offer the wanted ones more, but as TIN MONKEY says," Stick to the wage structure and there will be a Stanley for years" etc.. Bet you anything you like a new hero will emerge in Toddy's old position.

You don't know what abuse is for one thing , and for another, I'm not petty enough to ban you . It's not worth the effort . Whalley is just off the A59 if that helps you at all .

Re: Todd gone to Rotherham
quite agree with Tin Monkey and Ossy and Kiwi - we must stick to the wage structure
But Toddy has not gone for the money - see the Observer tomorrow/tonight. He has been driving up from Hucknall every day for the past year and a half, that puts at least four hours on his day. EVERY DAY. He has spoken to his wife and they have decided to take an offer from a club that is less than an hour away from his home. Rotherham are only 10 months out of administration that threatened to kill them, do you honestly think they would be paying silly wages?
Yet again people have jumped down the throats of the club without being fully aware of the facts. Maybe that is the clubs fault for not advertising the full facts but regardless .......
Good luck Toddy and thanks for the memories.
