Re: Todd promotion?
It looks like the rumour mill has started already, it says on 606 chat site that Toddy is off to Mansfield Town, I sincerely hope not, that would be a backwards move.

Re: Todd promotion?
same site says that if, as predicted, David Sheepshanks sells up at Ipswich he will be considering buying Stanley!!! Not a good source if you ask me.
Back to Toddy, the lad deserves a big move (hope he doesn't get one though) nut Mansfield are not it. Only just finished above us, poor crowds considering the size of the place, and how stupid do their numbers look in that big impressive stadium? the crowd are always on the back of the team and there is a lot of unrest amongst the inhabitants due to the chairman. I wouldn't imagine them being able to pay much better wages than us neither.
In summary he would play for a mediocre team in a mauseleum of a ground where you can hardly hear the crowd. Tell me why he would want to go? 'cos he lives nearer there than here? nah, stop where you are Toddy.

Re: Todd promotion?
Whatver happens, looks like there's going to be plenty of changes on the playing front:

Re: Todd promotion?
I'm sure Doc is out of contract, and I fear Toddy may be one, not so sure about others but Rodgers signed until the season end (Does that count).

Definitely wouldn't want to go to Mansfield now the crowd capacity has been cut to just over 4,500 on the 'S' factor

Re: Todd promotion?
does that not constitute a breach of FL rules? we were given a years grace after promotion but I am sure that the capacity has to be over 5000.
chuck em out.

Why's that? Not because of away fans standing is it?

Re: Todd promotion?
I am pretty sure Andy Todd was on a one year contract so it would be ending this summer.
