Re: Tom Bender
Bit more from our Rob:
Accrington Stanley chief executive Rob Heys tells BBC Sport's Paul Plunkett that one or two of their players might be available: "Sale - Looking to grab a bargain? We're prepared to accept £1m for any two of our players* Sale ends 11pm tonight. *selected players only."

Re: Tom Bender
According to the Telegraph, Tom's been included in the Wales U19 squad for 'their trip to Slovenia later this month'.
A little bit of research would have told them that it's for UEFA U19 qualifying matches against Belgium, Scotland and Slovenia. Dates are here: Under-19 - Matches ? UEFA.com

Re: Tom Bender
I see Mr Bender has been called up for international duty again but isn't able to get a regular slot with Stanley.
Discuss.

Re: Tom Bender
I think I'd like to have seen him play more often, especially as Nsiala hasn't set the world alight. But then again Leam and Coley before him see the pair of them more than we do and perhaps think Toto has more pedigree, coming from Everton. I think Leam was happy to go with the side that Coley had picked the previous four games and make as little change as possible, maybe would have changed it round more had he had more games. That would likely be true of Cook for his first game, and only change it round once he's had time to assess things more

Re: Tom Bender
Both good players, but i think Toto has a little more physical presence.
I like young Bender and when he fills out,he will go on to have a successful career, good attitude, technique and being left footed always helps.
He could always slot into left back if Kev Mac gets injured, indeed he could play all across the backline.
Like all footballers, take your chance when it comes along !!!

Re: Tom Bender
I like Tom alot, think he is a class act.
Whenever I have seen him play he has really looked the part.
Burton Away, Oldham home, Carlisle Home he looked great in those games.
Obviously the injury set him back a couple of months, and I would have liked him to come in when Longy left as others have said, Toto has looked abit shaky on occasion.
Here is hoping he can get another chance and cement his place for the rest of the season, as Hessey looks like he wont be back soon
