...and just to add to the feelgood factor - Chesterfield 2 - 1 Grimsby. Another good result for us.

However did attend in Dec 2006 and this was posted to internet as a "Moss Rose Steward's Blog" at the time:

" Anyway we got underway and I was moved to being Supervisor of the away seating stand really cr**py job. By 3pm we had around 250 Accrington fans in the ground and 50 decided to have a protest by standing up all the way through the game and banging on the windows to the offices which house the chief exec ....... I got a load of cr*p the office staff .........finally found out what it is like to be on the recieving end of a group of football id**ts. However I didnt get any back up...."

May be they would have preferred it like "Accy Library".

He forgot to put " a rotund lady had actually baited the away supporters by waving stamford bridge tickets at the accrington fans" as the next game for macc was chelsea in the cup

these fans remembered & 3 years on made sure that she knew that we had remembered

The difference between the league's isn't that great. Exeter and Aldershot have proved that.
Fleetwood, Donaldson, Bishop all on the way up from the Conference to League clubs. Mangan on his way down to the Conference from League clubs. Exeter and Aldershot do not have all the same players in their teams in the League that they had in the Conference. The difference between the leagues IS that great. Stanley win the Conference easy then struggle with the same players in League Two. Dagenham win the Conference easy then struggle with the same players in League Two.

Was he ever given a real chance, no! That's the point I'm making.

How many clubs in the last 10yrs have gone up from the Conference to the 2nd, then to the 1st. Quite a few I can tell you.
