I just wnated to say that although you won Ive not heared one Bury fan say theyve changed their mind about Friday and I think that is fantastic.
Ive had over 300 pledge so far and Ive had PMs off loads saying they are bringing 5,6 and 7 people.
Ive spoken to Rob who recommended we go in your Goal end so Im trying to get has many as possible in there to get the atmosphere going.
No hard feeliong about yesterday we couldnt score against a pub side at the moment for some reason.

We are planning to visit both Liverpool V Burnley, & Blackburn V Wolves next Saturday. If all goes well, we hope to collect from other clubs the following week.

Re: Ultras bucket collection
I think its a great effort by everyone involved in doing there bit to save our club and the generous support we have got from our friends in bury when you think of players at man city like robinho who are on 160k a week it really puts things into perspective, 308k to man city would be like 50p to them, has anyone got in touch with them to see if they could help us out.

Re: Ultras bucket collection
When the club first announced the tax debt back in May, a friend of my mum's wrote to every club in the north west asking if they could help out. The only one she got an answer from was Preston North End who offered to play a friendly match, she passed the letter on to the club so would be a good idea to follow that one up.

I thought Marcelle had some contacts at City? If there was ever a time for her to be using them, it has to be now! Would've thought a news story on the lines of "the richest club in the league helps out the poorest club in the league" would have fantastic Google Page Ranking possibilities for City and would probably make the nationals.

that was exactly what i was meaning, the great Google Page Ranking fer city never occured to me though good idea Wynonie, add the that the great P.R. n Kudos Marcelle would get if she could pull a stroke like that off, would make her an all time Accrington Stanley Heroine. nowt ventured, nowt gained, over to you Marcelle.

Re: Ultras bucket collection
Well, this is what she said when she was appointed to the position, so hopefully she's now going to deliver the goods...
“Dave will be doing the everyday running of the club and I intend to bring in some of my contacts.
“I deal with football clubs from the Premier League all the way down and, hopefully, I can help in that way.
“There's going to be an awful lot happening over the new few months. It's going to be really exciting for the club.”
She was spot on with her observations in the final paragraph, wasn't she?

Posted via Mobile Device Lmao wyn spot on indeed, but a great point made about making use of contacts. Burnley have taken the lead with support how about other north west clubs ie manchester/liverpool way?

Re: Ultras bucket collection
Has anyone thought of a bucket collection during a midweek evening in Alderley Edge when Prem Footballers might be socialising there?
I have seen a few when I have driven through on my way to Congleton.

Re: Ultras bucket collection
Superb effort yesterday, thanks to the Bury fans in town where a few of us went with some buckets and to the fans near the ground! Some amazing contributions by them, either by notes or coins!! and to the many words said by them and telling me they hope we get this sorted! Im also glad most fans remembered we helped them out and also advised fans that wouldnt give money because they had no interest that we helped their club!! The Accrington fans really did the club proud yesterday and to match the result and the drinking in the crown it was a very good night indeed!!
We really did well on saturday and thankyou bury fans alot!!
Also ive had a few emails from some people and there have been buckets outside many football grounds, the latest a few buckets at Crewe!!
On Stanley On!!!
