Doesn't sound too positive - at least we got the last word.

That link only goes to 5-1 and it finished 7-1. Presumably the youth team if the 1st team were playing at Prescot ?

Re: Updates from Leek Town

Sorry, phone battery ran out

Stanley lineup was: Fearon, Chapman, Bell, Ami, Young, Shezmerdine, Turner, Riley, Smith, O'Connor, Burey. Subs: Riley, Burton, Hughes.

Not sure if this was a youth team or reserves.

Stanley's goal was an OG in the 81st minute. Leek scored again on 82 and 89.

Re: Updates from Leek Town

If Yorkshire was once part of British East Accrington (see http://www.accringtonweb.com/forum/f...ost-32300.html) isn't Wales part of West Hereford and isn't the vegetable known as the Leek its totem?

Re: Updates from Leek Town

Got back to work in Leeds today.

Was baited all day about this 1-7 result by Man U Man City and Stoke fans who thought it was the first team.

Same here, except they were United, City and Stockport fans! Very annoying.
