This evening’s match with Cambridge United has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Referee John Busby made the decision following several days heavy rain in East Lancashire and with more forecast.
Despite the best efforts of groundstaff and the worst affected areas being covered the surface is holding water.
A new date for the game will be announced in due course.

Not sure when this will be played, but with the weather as it was, plus a home game a few days ago, combined with the prima donnas on the television, I fear the gate may have suffered

Let's just hope that by the time this fixture comes round, we have a few more points on the board and are higher up in the table, might just bring a few more to the game..
