Re: V Leeds United Capital One Cup 1st rd tie
Was looking out for you Cashy so we could have a good natter !!
The game was enjoyable (well the second half was !).
Loads of positives ;
Fitness good and we finished the stronger
Once we realized they had four players in the central areas (diamond),it would have been easy to go 4-5-1,but we didn't and went three at the back (credit to the coaches).
Never been a fan of 4-4-2 especially if you don't have the right players for it,as the widemen can be easily isolated.
We had more corners/shots than them,and despite getting bombarded arielly,i cant recall our keeper making a save.
In reality,we were missing our captain,playing three rookies and away from home,so it was a decent effort,especially in the second half.
One player who stood out when he went in the central areas was Mingola.
