Pitch Latest
Posted on: Fri 12 Dec 2008

Following another cold night in Lincoln the Sincil Bank pitch has been covered by frost once again ahead of tonights game with Accrington Stanley.

The groundstaff have been working hard over the last couple of days with hot air blowers warming the pitch in the most troublesome areas. The goalmouth at the South Park end was covered overnight and the rest of the pitch is currently thawing out over the course of the morning.

Taking into account the weather forecast for later today, it is expected that tonight's game should go ahead as planned.

We will keep you updated throughout the day on redimps.com

That's what I was thinking K-P, its a long time since I went to that neck of the woods, but I thought leaving at 4-30 would be cutting it very fine to say the least, especially going on the 62, which can be a nightmare at any time let alone 5pm on a Friday. be interested to hear how you get on

Re: V Lincoln bits n bobs

Odd squad tonight.

gk: Arthur
rb: Bell
lb: Edwards
cb: Charnock
cb: Murdock
rm: Ryan
lm: Miles
cm: Mullin, J
cm: Procter
st: Clarke
st: Blundell

Subs: Grant, Turner, Mahon, Burton, Speare

Things just got weirder. Dan says Edwards began the game at centre back with Murdock at left back? Very strange indeed.
