They eventually opened the cowshed seating area as the clayton end began to get packed. The away end remained closed though

I'll have the Rob Heys interview on the 2BR website in the next hour or so for anyone that missed it...

Re: v Rovers
Did anyone see the shares option in the programme? It was a limited number of 1000 shares for £250 plus VAT each. I personally think it is wrong to be doing something like this just weeks after Ilyas requested a share issue. What is so wrong about ASSF asking for a share issue for £500k?

I don’t think that’s what Rob said; what I got was the £150k from the fund, £100k from the club and some short term loans form willing bods until all the schemes are played out, It was Dan at the end of the report that mentioned the £150k from the Fund + £100k from the Directors. Either way it would appear that they have done what they needed to do.
A fantastic response from Blackburn Rovers and their Supporters, as well as Accy and all the neutrals that came and showed us that we’re not alone. A good day for all of us.

So Wheres the money raised through this share issue going to go??If the club had done this 6wks ago the club would have been saved then we still would have had aVice-Chairman ie Mr Marsden and Ilyas Khan would still be a mager share holder and the (we) supporters would have been sleeping easyer and not out with Begging bouls to everyone

Why is it wrong; I know Mr. Khan wanted to underwrite an issue that would have favoured the ASSF; but the club is entiteled to release a ltd share issue if it wants.

Re: v Rovers
I personally think it's wrong mainly because fans have been donating thousands of pounds to the SOS fund and not getting anything in return. If the club would have done something like this 6 weeks ago then I think it could've enticed them into investing money into the club via shares and this coupled with the ASSF offer would've meant the club could be run by the fans. It seems to me that the club have just been waiting for people to put as much into the SOS so that the directors have less to put in themselves. I also think the price of £250 is very unrealistic in the current credit crunch, there will be some people that will take it up but what happens if the club gets wound up? The shares will be worth nothing and the fans will be out of pocket.

Re: v Rovers
The Rob interview is now here - 2br -
He did indeed say 150K from the SOS fund, 100K in investment from directors and the remainder in short term loans.
Expect more details tomorrow - will do my best to keep you up to date!
Dan

Re: v Rovers
88k in the pot so far, 61k short. Where's that going to come from?
Possible 15k tonight still leaves a big hole

A little under £300 to say you own shares in Accrington Stanley; I haven't got it to spare and she'll kill me if she got wind of it; but i will have it before the end of the week...

From the info out there at Moment I agree WRONG, but we need to see the Details ?
How do these shares count in the 100% of total shares ?
Does this affect other shareholders % ie 51% becoming 45% ?
How do the club value 'B' shares ?
How are they valueing(?) the club ?
So many Questions.....
And WHY now ???????????????????????????????????????????????
